Big Guy and Little Guy

Yesterday I spent all day in Indy for a baby shower, leaving my two fellas alone! Luckily there was evidence on the camera of what these two cuties were up too!

Ohhh, mommy has been a bad girl and not updated her blog in a lonnnnnnnnnnngggggggg time. Mommy should have a time out!!! Like Nick's new do! That's right, mom and dad braved the mean looks at Great Clips for putting our child through such an experience to achieve the greatness of our new hair cut. While I post pictures, I am also trying to figure out posting videos using YouTube. I have had success in uploading to youtube so let's hope the trend will continue.

Snow Day!

Friday night we were lucky to get some snow and the family decided to go out and play!

Having a child during the winter months is such a joy! The amount of time dressing a child into snow gear is insane and then there is the question "to add another layer or not". But it is great to have an excuse to go play in the snow!

Oops!!! Mommy put on too many layers. Nick totally did "the Christmas story" fall over! We laughed sooooo hard.

When it was time to go into the sled he wasn't quite sure what we where going to do. We started in the yard but he was too heavy and we ended up plowing the yard more than sledding. We moved into the driveway and the excitment began.

All the ghosts and goblins came out last night. Although, for our little critter, the late night hours proved to be too much excitement, our family still had a great time.

Nicky spent most of the night looking like this. He is a

morning person and not a night owl!!

Although he was a little fussy, he did end up with a nice candy pile.

Beware though, this is the look you get when baby catches you stealing

candy from his pile.

The eyes did me in and so I shared his candy with him. I am such a

nice mommy. Candy before bedtime, Sweet!!!

My Child is Brillant!

Ok, the other day Nick is playing at the table while I am changing my clothes after work. I hear him laughing in the kitchen and peek around the cornor to catch him learning about Science. To say he was enjoying himself and the cats, that were going crazy, is an understatement!

We were out of town for two weekends (the annual Stinky's Adventure and our good friend's wedding), plus I was called the friday before school started to fill a vacant teaching position at my favorite middle school.Nicky has had lots of appointments for his helmet and is trying to crawl and eat everything in sight!
